Many arts, crafts, and traditions are lost through the ages. Even in my own family many practices have been forgotten, I am actively relearning the traditions my family followed as well as other crafts that seem interesting. For years my fathers side of the family have all made wine. They all have their own special recipes, half based on personal belief and half based on dogma. The wines generally turn out well, but there has always been a lack of understanding and a lack of experimentation and deviation.
Wine, Beer, Meats and Fermented foods are my main interest.
I have been making wine from grapes or juice since before I can remember. My family was making it back in Italy and continued to make it once arriving in America.
I have been brewing and learning about beer for over 4 years, and just recently started attempting to make cured meats.
